Rocky Point Park 2

Shot:
While exploring around Rocky Point Park in Warwick, RI I came across this half torn apart dock near these jetty which made a great scene to help capture the beauty of what Rhode Island has to offer. I planted myself on those rocks for a while just sitting, relaxing and thinking for hours.

Rocky Point Park

Shot:
I recently took a day trip up to Warwick, RI while my wife had a small work conference. I spend the entire day out exploring and photographing a few different areas. While I was out shooting sunrise I met these two lady’s that were out for a walk and they told me about Rocky Point Park. This area used to be an amusement park that was taken down and turned into this nice outdoor park. I enjoyed roaming around and see some parts of the structure and rides still on the grounds. If you ever travel to Rhode Island, I definitely recommend stopping by this park and enjoying the views.

Quiet Night in Maine

Shot:
When I got married we never planned a real honeymoon and opted for a small trip to Kennebunk Port, ME. The drive was nice and scenic on the way up passing through all the fall colors. We stayed at a small B&B called the Bufflehead Cove Inn which was a short drive out of the main town area. The Inn was right on the river and provided for some great views and photo opportunities and also had some amazing breakfast as well. This shot was taken off of my balcony one quiet night while I sat outside, enjoyed the wine and the silence.

Up Close with Il Dumo

Shot:
After climbing up the many steps of both Il Duomo and the Bell Tower you get amazing views of the city of Florence. These buildings are so massive that you can pretty much see the entire city of Florence. This view of the Duomo is amazing becuase you can see the people of the top and they look so tine.

Il Duomo di Firenze

Shot:
Italy is a special place to me. It holds connections to my ancestors, was the first European Trip with my now wife and is the place where she became my wife to be. When planning this trip together I knew in my mind that I would propose to her while there and just need to find the right location, the perfect spot to make it happen. I picked Il Giardino Bardini as we both have a love of gardens and though this place would be great. We spend the whole morning there walking around and taking in the lovely sites and architecture throughout the gardens. I will put up some more shots oft the gardens soon, but first wanted to share the amazing view of Florence as a whole as well as the massive Duomo which takes up the entire center of the city.

Technique:
For this shot I took three images bracketed, brought them into Lightroom, made some small modifications and then exported them into HDR Efex Pro to create the blend and do a few more adjustments before exporting out to JPG.
