Along the walkway that goes through Jersey City and Hoboken you can so many every changing photo opportunities. This particular shot is from right in front of an area called Newport Beach. What makes this photo special to me is that I took it at sunrise and make it a sunset photo with the power of Lightroom.
A view of the Meatpacking District of Lower Manhattan as seen from the outside deck of the Whitney Museum. The clouds in the sky this day were crazy beautiful and fluffy, I had to capture this scene.
Aside from the basic edits to make the exposure a little clearer, I used some split toning to add some color to entire image to give a warm overall feeling to the scene.
On Mother’s Day this year I took my mom to NYC to walk the Highline, go to the Whitney for some art and lunch, see the Samsung 837 Lounge and strap her in VR Headset and then just grab a quick snack at Chelsea Marketplace. While on the Highline I snapped this quick shot of the Empire State peeking above the Google building.
The NYC Midtown Skyline taken from North Bergen, NJ. There is a great park located on JFK Blvd East in North Bergen over looking the NYC Skyline from high up above. It is on my list of favorite places to photo NYC from. The elevation you are at gives you the feeling of being above the buildings.
