Rocky Point Park 2

Shot:
While exploring around Rocky Point Park in Warwick, RI I came across this half torn apart dock near these jetty which made a great scene to help capture the beauty of what Rhode Island has to offer. I planted myself on those rocks for a while just sitting, relaxing and thinking for hours.

Rocky Point Park

Shot:
I recently took a day trip up to Warwick, RI while my wife had a small work conference. I spend the entire day out exploring and photographing a few different areas. While I was out shooting sunrise I met these two lady’s that were out for a walk and they told me about Rocky Point Park. This area used to be an amusement park that was taken down and turned into this nice outdoor park. I enjoyed roaming around and see some parts of the structure and rides still on the grounds. If you ever travel to Rhode Island, I definitely recommend stopping by this park and enjoying the views.

Who Doesn’t Love Clouds?

Shot:
A view of the Meatpacking District of Lower Manhattan as seen from the outside deck of the Whitney Museum. The clouds in the sky this day were crazy beautiful and fluffy, I had to capture this scene.

Techniques:
Aside from the basic edits to make the exposure a little clearer, I used some split toning to add some color to entire image to give a warm overall feeling to the scene.

Feeling A Little Moody

Shot:
I normally photo One World Trade Center during lunch break because the skies are always changing over it; clouds, colors etc. On this day I decided to capture the Empire State Building, I liked the way the pier under construction in the foreground mixes some new and old architecture. The clouds were also great that day and let put me in the mood to edit the photo with a moody feeling to it.
